㊲Aspect Part 2: Opposition 180°☍.

1.Today, I would like to explain "the Opposition ☍ " aspect of the Aspects. 

As I mentioned before, the ecliptic circle is divided into 180 degrees by the regular dihedron (circle) viewed from the vertex. See image ↓.

"The Opposition ☍ " is generally considered a bad aspect because it represents strong tension, but a person with a powerful mentality may be able to overcome it.

Such a person learns a lot from conflicts and tensions  and becomes an experienced member of society. 

Thus, it does not only mean bad things like square 🔲.

Also, the Opposition with the Jupiter♃ or other auspicious stars can be overly optimistic, which is bad to say the least, but not so bad to happen.

2. By the way, when considering aspects, orb (accuracy of the aspect) is an issue.

Tanu-chan💓 will explain that today.

It may be a little confusing!

For example, let's consider the case of conjunction（☌）.

If we represent the Sun (☉) as ○ and the Moon (☽) as ●, then one degree before the exact conjunction ☌ , the sun and moon are like,⇓

"○●"

Then, as time goes by, they overlap and become,

"◉"　

and then finally,

"●○"

The angle between these phenomena is about 2° on the ecliptic longitude.

In other words, there is an interval of 2° between the beginning of the overlap and the good-bye.

Therefore, the conjunction of the Sun☉ and the Moon☽, which has a larger visual diameter (larger visible size, about 1° ), is sure to last 2°.

However, the influence of the meeting is a little larger than 2°, as you can see when you actually consider it in your divination. 

The time between the first sign of influence and the disappearance of its effect (this interval is called "orb" ) is 4° plus or minus, or 8° in total.

In other words, the conjunction can be seen (just barely) up to a total of 8°, between the Sun☉ and the Moon☽.

3.In the case of "the conjunction ☌ " between a star(planet) and the Sun☉ (or the Moon(☽)),  which are both large in appearance, so the orb is at most 3 degrees plus or minus, or 6 degrees in total, until the signs of influence (of the aspect)  disappear.

For example, Napoleon's Moon is 25 degrees 53 minutes in Cancer♋ and his Saturn is 28 degrees 43 minutes in Capricorn♑, so they are 2 degrees 50 minutes apart from the exact 180 degrees, but they are within 3 degrees, so they make just barely "opposition ☍ " .

If this is a star to star aspect (Mars♂ and Saturn♄, for example), it feels like 2.5 degrees plus or minus, or 5 degrees total pull at most.

It should be noted that when ASC (M.C.) and other stars make an aspect, ASC (M.C.) can be considered somewhat large, just like the Sun☉ and the Moon☽.

In particular, since ASC is the earth itself, it can be considered as a larger orb (plus or minus 5°, about 10° in total).

So, I write a summary below. ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓ ↓

①　Planet to planet ±2° to ±2.5°.

②　☉☽MC and a planet ±3° approximately

　　

③　☉☽MC and each other ±4° approximately

④　ASC and others ±5° approximately

However, even if the "orb" are allowed to be considered somewhat widely, there is a clear difference in influence between when they make fully aspect and when they do not.

If the orb is just barely, for example, the Moon☽ at 15° Leo♌ and the Mars♂ at 18° Aquarius♒, it's just barely "the Opposition☍", but don't worry too much (even though it's a bad aspect)!

　　

4. "The Opposition" in Natal horoscope is often seen.

For example, people born on a full moon〇 day often have the Sun and the Moon in Opposition ☍ (It is natural!)

This means  "when it is full, it is absent", i.e., "saying goodbye to a close one or a family member, but at the same time, it may bring a new person into your life".

So although it is a bad angle, don't think that only bad things will happen.

For example, some books say that when Saturn♄ is Opposition☍ to the Sun☉, you are prone to depression because you have heavy responsibilities.

While it is not wrong, being born with heavy responsibilities can help a person hone his or her strengths.

These people are strong in a pinch. So it not only means bad.　　

5. When reading life (progression), if a planet is in opposition ☍ to the progressing Sun☉, the ordeal indicated by that planet will occur.

However, if the planet is in opposition ☍ with the Jupiter♃ or another auspicious planet like the Venus♀, you don't have to worry too much about it.

If the progressed Sun☉ is in opposition ☍ to the natal Sun☉, you will fight with the authorities.

When Saturn♄ and progression Sun☉ enter the Opposition position, you will be fighting against an overwhelming enemy. This position appears in the Great Patriotic War, the Great War of Independence, and parties to the Great Rebellion.

This is where you should show perseverance and patience！
