67 Appendix 1 of Season 4

How to Read the Natal Horoscope Chart　①

1. Introduction

There are many books on how to read a natal (birth) horoscope chart, but for now, as an appendix to Season 4, I will explain a little bit about it.

It's what's called the 12 houses system or something like that.

You do not need to read Tanu-chan's story, if you know it from a book on the market. 

you can skip this appendix1.

2. The Horoscope is divided by 12 Houses, starting from the constellation on the East horizon, and assigning house numbers counterclockwise, 1st house, 2nd house, ...etc. 

Then the constellation on the eastern horizon would be in the first house, the constellation on the western horizon would be in the seventh house, and the constellation a little higher up from the eastern horizon would be in the twelfth house.

For example, if Leo is just coming up the eastern horizon when you were born, the image of the 12 houses would be roughly like this ↓.

3.The eastern portion of the 12 houses (12th-2nd house) is for personal matters (subconscious, conscious, physical), and the northern portion (3rd-5th house) is for origin and domestic matters (relatives and acquaintances, family, recreation, children),

The Western portion (6th-8th houses) indicates interpersonal matters (superiors and subordinates, partners, opposite-sex partners, competitors and enemies), and the Southern portion (9th-11th houses) indicates social matters ( academic studies, authority, career, power, associations and public purpose).

The first house corresponds to the meaning of Aries, the second to the meaning of Taurus, the third to the meaning of Gemini...and the 12th house corresponds to the meaning of Pisces.

It is not known when this 12 houses system was established, but I think it may be newer than expected. 

4. By the way, some people look at this strictly and say, for example, that because Mars is in the 2nd (the house corresponding to Taurus), you are likely to have trouble with money, or that because Mercury is in the 9th, you will major in chemistry at university.

But I don't think it is that strict.

In other words, as for Tanu-chan's experience, I think there is a certain tendency.

But I don't think it's so strict, and I don't think it's a perfect fit.

In Tanu-chan's opinion, the condition of the 1st house or the eastern horizon (ascendant) is related to personal character and physical nature, the condition of the 10th house and M.C. is related to social work, the houses and constellations with the Sun and Moon are the points of interests for the person, and the houses and constellations with Saturn are the points of difficulties to overcome. 

I feel it is not necessary to look at all the houses from the 1st to the 12th in detail.

5. If you read some horoscope book, you may read something like this

"If Mars in Pisces is in the 4th house, you will have a lot of fights in your family life, and you may quarrel over drinking."

Or,,

"When Mercury in Scorpio is in the 8th house, the privacy of married life is easily known to the outsider."

Or, 

"If you have Venus in Libra in the 7th house, your marriage partner is very beautiful."

And so on.

6. Tanu-chan doesn't expect such details. 

I can't read that much.

I mean, probably, if you read like that, your horoscope will be contradictory here and there and you won't be able to understand it well.

I think it may be generally true that the 1st house and ASC are related to personality and physicality, or that the position of the 10th house and M.C. is related to sociality (social status, occupation, etc.).

But I think it is possible to change it by his/her own will and effort.

 So, Tanu-chan thinks that there is some basis for this "12 houses" system, but don't think it is as accurate as the "aspect" system, or "progression" system.

Therefore, I will not make it an independent season.

I'll write a bit about the "12 houses system" as "appendix1" to this Season 4.
