Mini Appendix 4
About the Number "the RJ" and "the TN" .
1. Okay, let's continue where we left off last time!
Last time, I mentioned a bit about the sequence of numbers 1.42857.
This number, whether as 4.28571, 571428, 71.42857,or 8571.42, if the order of the sequence does not change, dividing an integer by it will always produce a circular decimal.
For example,
5 ÷ 1.42857 = 3.50000350000...
3 ÷ 4.28571 = 0.70000000700000...
23 ÷ 5.71428 = 4.2500402500...
5 ÷ 1.42857 = 3.50000350000...
3 ÷ 4.28571 = 0.70000000700000...
23 ÷ 5.71428 = 4.2500402500...
I'm not sure which one to choose as the representative, but I'm going to make the representative 571428.
And we call this number 571428 the "RJ number" in honor of the genius Ramanujan.
"RJ" has absolutely nothing to do with "Japanese Raccoon!"
It has absolutely nothing to do with it!
2. Anyway, let's consider the group of "369" , which is in conflict with "142857".
Whether these numbers are 369, 693, or 936, if you divide an integer by it, you get a circular decimal.
For example,
4 divided by 369 = 001084010840...
7 divided by 693 = 0.01010101010...
24 divided by 936 = 0.025641025641...
I'm not sure which one to choose as the representative, but I'm going to go with 396.
Because this 396 has an interesting nature,
48 divided by 396 = 0.121212121212...
698 divided by 396 = 1.7626262626...
1470÷396=3.712121212...
485156982÷396=1225143.8939393...
698 divided by 396 = 1.7626262626...
1470÷396=3.712121212...
485156982÷396=1225143.8939393...
And the circulating part is within two digits, isn't it?
Tanu-chan has been looking it up on the calculator in the commuter train all this week!
And it seems that when you divide an integer by 396, the circular part is all within two digits, with no exceptions.
🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
It was hot in Japan this week.
But just around Tanu-chan there weren't so many people there, I felt like.
Although there were a lot of people on the train....
.....I wonder why?
It was a little cooler or colder!
🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
Well, to tell the truth, this is a property that many multiples of 99 have.
396 is 4 times 99, you see.
Anyway, I will make this 396 representative.
Three Nine Six, so we call it the "TN number".
Of course, "TN" has nothing to do with "TaNuki" !
Yes, it has nothing to do with it!
3. And you see, there is still an interesting nature of this TN number,
396 = 6 x 66 = 66 x 6
3 + 9 + 6 = 18 = 6 + 6 + 6
So it becomes 666. It's like the occult!
That's ridiculous.
Well then, let's divide the RJ number by 666,
571428 divided by 666 = 858
....... This is M !
8 + 5 + 8 = 21 = 7 + 7 + 7
Well, if we put it on the drawing board, it looks like this.
....... This is M !
8 + 5 + 8 = 21 = 7 + 7 + 7
Well, if we put it on the drawing board, it looks like this.
....I think that is enough for now!
That's all for today!
Well, the next article will be the last one of Season 5!

"Supplement and apologies for this article."
Tanu-chan wrote that dividing an integer "A" by either any RJ or TN number always yields a circular decimal, but if "A" is the RJ number itself or the TN number itself (or a multiple of them), then it is not a circular decimal, but divisible by it.
For example, 142857 ÷ 142857 = 1!
That was a little bit poorly explained. Very sorry 💛
