Tanuki's Thoughts on the "Tree of Life"
1. I have mentioned the "Tree of Life" before.
Suddenly, without any context, I look at John 15th chapter in the Bible.
And it says that this chapter is about the grapevine, and that God and man are the grapevine and its branches.
And its content is made up of a total of 27 verses.
15th chapter means that there are three pentagons.
27 could be 9 + 9 + 9, or it could be 3 x 3 x 3,
....I suppose.
....I suppose.
2. Well, Tanu-chan think, early on, this grapevine is the Tree of Life.
I heard that in the Garden of Eden there was a grapevine, and a tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and I guess the grapevine is the tree of life.
Maybe someone in Christianity who is familiar with the traditions wrote the story of the tree of life in this way.
3. So I wondered what the Sumerians thought, and looking at the Sumerian tree, it looks like it has 15 fruits on it.

(Fig. 1)
If you look at the Sumerian tree of life, which is said to be around 1800 B.C.
Maybe it has 27 flowers on it, with 3 sections.
(Fig. 2)
4. Looking at the Egyptian tree of life, which is from a slightly different time period, and it is a little difficult to see, but it looks like there are 27 fruits on the tree.
(Fig. 3)
5. That's why I think that the tree of life may have been associated with the numbers
"15 or 27".
Of course, some say it is tied to "22", which is a famous design in this Egyptian souvenir.
But since there are 22 fruits and 5 birds, isn't 22 + 5 = 27 ?
