60stars Astrology Season 6
137 Let's Learn How to Predict the Future
Season 6-6 Middle East and Africa section
G.A. Nasser ②
1. After his first coup attempt (1942) failed, Nasser took a quiet life for a while, but when the First Middle East War broke out in mid-1948, he took command as a general staff officer.
Despite a gunshot wound to the abdomen, he made a name for himself at the Battle of Fallujah.
And, In 1950, he became the head of the Free Officers Movement.
The sun of Mr. Nasser's progression at that time was,
32 x V(3.75/year) + ♑24≒120 degrees
32 x V(3.75/year) + ♑24≒120 degrees
This was the trine with his natal sun☉.
(Fig 1)
2. Then, starting in 1952, he launched an assassination plot against high-ranking government officials, and in July 1952, the Free Officers Movement staged a coup d'etat and expelled the king (the Egyptian Revolution 1952 ).
At that time, Nasser was 34 years old, and the Sun of his progression was,
34 years old x 3.75 + ♑24 degrees≒151.5 degrees
In short, it was at around 1° to 2° Gemini, in trine with Mars♂, the star of battle, and in conjunction with Jupiter♃, the star of expansion.
(Fig 2).
3. In the Egyptian Revolution 1952, Mr. Naguib, whose name was well known, was initially at the top of the list, but gradually Nasser and Mr. Naguib did not get along well.
However, because of Mr. Naguib's popularity, Mr. Nasser removed Mr. Naguib from the prime minister's position, but soon returned him to the position.
After laying the groundwork, two years later, in June 1956, he finally took office as president himself and declared the nationalization of the Suez Canal, which triggered the Suez War.
Mr. Nasser's progressing Sun☉ at that time was,
38.5 years old x 3.75 + ♑24≒168 degrees
In short, it was at 18 degrees of Gemini, with the trine of M.C. (Fig 3)
....The trine of M.C. is the wind effect, i.e., it means "Diplomatic maneuvering" "Relationship with foreign countries", also, it means transportation like "CANAL".
While suffering a series of defeats in the Suez War, Mr. Nasser succeeded in getting international public opinion on his side and getting Israel to withdraw its troops.
4. Later, in 1958, Nasser founded the United Arab Republic and became its first president.
Although there was no substance to the Republic, Mr. Nasser ensured his name in the world as a hero of Arab liberation (Trine of the Moon).
However, after Nasser's progression of the Sun☉ into Cancer (1959), things didn't go so well, and the "Sam incident" caused by Arafat (1966), led to increased tensions in the region and Nasser suffered several heart attacks (Opposition of his natal Sun ☉).
Inevitably, in 1967, the Third Middle East War broke out.
However, Nasser was defeated by Israel.
Nasser's sun in progression at that time was,
49 x 3.75 + ♑24≒207.7°.
That's 27.7° of Cancer with 150° of the Ascendant and a square to Arcturus★.
We can see that Arcturus★ indicates war, and that if the aspect of this star★ is bad, one would lose the war.
(Fig 4)
However, since it was not Square of Saturn ♄, Mr. Nasser was not disqualified.
He actually declared his resignation from the presidency, but he could not quit because he was so popular with the people.
5. Mr. Nasser's Sun in progression passed through troublesome Cancer♋ and began its progression into Leo♌ (1968~).
Nasser promoted the rebuilding of the Egyptian army, which had been nearly destroyed in the Third Middle East War, but perhaps because of the stress that had built up over the years, he died of a heart attack in September 1970.
His funeral was attended by 5 million people from all over the world.
Mr. Nasser's progression sun at that time was,
52.8 years old x 3.75 + ♑24 ≒ 222 degrees
That is, it was at 12 degrees of Leo, making an exact conjunction with Saturn ♄.
(Fig 5)
Conjunction ☌ of Saturn♄ often still means bad, but it is not the same as Square (disqualification).
Nasser had quite a hard time in the latter half of his political life, but his boldness and activity in his younger days were wonderful and very cool.
He became a legend as a hero of the Arab world.
That's all for today.
