1.  Well, today we have Saddam Hussein, born April 28, 1937.

His political methods have been criticized.

However, there is no doubt that Mr. Hussein modernized Iraq and made life easier for the people.

2.  Although there were some parts of Mr. Hussein's career that we did not know, but we can generally assume that his V = 3.37/year.

This is a very powerful man.

He was one of the most powerful politicians in the world in the same era.

Mr. Hussein's natal horoscope is shown in Figure 1.

In 60stars astrology, his Sun was located around the Taurus-Gemini border. 

He was practical, eloquent, and very intelligent.

3.  Mr. Hussein joined the Ba'ath Party, a revolutionary party in Iraq, at the age of 20 and became politically active.

After his exile at the age of 22 (150 degrees of the Ascendant), soon after his Sun in progression entered Leo♌, around the time of the "1963 Ramadaan revolution", he returned home, married his wife, and at the age of 25 became a He becomes a member of the leadership (his progressing Sun☉ was in trine with his Moon and Saturn).

Mr. Hussein's fortune in this Leo period was very strong (good aspects of Saturn, Moon, and Ascendant), and upon his return to the center, he became Vice President, President Bakr's right hand man.

He mainly organized the security and intelligence agencies.

Thus, Mr. Hussein established a formidable intelligence network for himself.

4.  Then, after an assassination attempt on Mr. Hussein by disgruntled Shiites (June 1973), Mr. Hussein rounded up and purged the opposition and took real power in the party.

Mr. Hussein's progressing sun at that time was,

5.  Around 1976, President Bakr tried to depose Mr. Hussein and form a union with Syrian President Assad. 

However, Mr. Hussein fought back, wiping out the anti-Hussein leaders as they attempted coup pro-Syrian, executing 34 people, including senior officials, and forcing Bakr to retire in July of the same year 1979.

At that time, Mr. Hussein's progressing Sun was at 150 degrees of Arcturus, in trine△ with Jupiter, in trine with Mercury.

Just then, the Iranian Revolution by the Shiite sect of Islam (Ayatollah Khomeini) broke out in a neighboring country, and with the backing of the West against it, Mr. Hussein launched the Iran-Iraq War (August 1980).

Mr. Hussein's Progression sun at that time was,

43.4 years old x 3.37 + ♉7° ＝ 153°.

This indicates that this war was not a sure victory for Iraq.

However, if he did not go to war with Iran with the backing of the U.S., he was in danger of losing political ground at home.

6. The Iran-Iraq war stalled and did not proceed as Mr. Hussein had hoped, but Iraq steadily grew in strength with de facto Western support, and by the time of the ceasefire in 1988, it was the fourth largest military nation in the world.

However, where Iraq needed to earn money for postwar reconstruction, its neighbor Kuwait refused to adjust the price of oil, which Iraq hoped to do.

So, in September 1990, Mr. Hussein invaded Kuwait and the so-called Gulf War began.

Mr. Hussein's progression sun at that time was,

53.4 years old x 3.37 + ♉7° ≒ 187°.

This time it was in opposition to his natal Sun☉, the star of power that represents the superior.

The invasion caused a backlash from the West, and the following year, a multinational force led by the U.S. launched an onslaught on Iraq. 

Within six months of the invasion, Iraq was effectively defeated, and a Kurdish rebellion broke out in the country.

Hussein's regime was destabilized, but he managed to escape the crisis by purging more than 100,000 Kurds and Shiites.

This was probably the most pinch point in the midst of Mr. Hussein's life.

7. This is a long story, so I will omit the rest.

The rest should be considered by all of you.

As you know, then, in 2003, he was forced to fight a war by the U.S. on the factually false accusation that he had weapons of mass destruction (Iraq War, His progression sun was in opposition to his ASC).

The Iraqi army was defeated and Mr. Hussein was arrested in December of the same year.

I think it is a little strange that the Western countries call Mr. Hussein a bad guy.

....I think that Mr. Hussein is completely different from people like Pol Pot in Cambodia.
