139　Let's Learn How to Predict the Future

Mr. Ben. Bella 

1. This section(6-6)  is for "the Middle East and Africa", but if we consider the Middle East to be the area around Iran and Turkey, it is a vast area with too many people, including all of Africa.

I think I made a mistake in dividing the region. 

I will leave the Central to South Africa section for another time.

Today, I would like to introduce Mr. Ben Bella from Algeria.

Mr. Ben Bella is not well known in Japan, but he is a very famous fighter for African independence.

His V=3.07.

Mr. Ben Bella was born in 1916, served in the French army during World War II, and played a heroic role, receiving the French Medal of Honor.

However, after the defeat of the Nazis in 1945, France suppressed the Algerian independence movement. 

Ben Bella launched an anti-government movement, but the French government sent assassins against him.

Mr. Ben Bella's progressing sun☉ at this time was,
29 x 3.07 + ♐29° = 28° of Pisces, the exact square of the Sun.

France had betrayed its benefactor.

2.  Although he escaped assassination by the French, his farm was confiscated and Ben Bella went into hiding.

In order to obtain funds for his organization, Ben Bella committed a robbery in 1949 that netted him 3 million francs, but he was arrested the following year and sentenced to 8 years in prison.

Mr. Ben Bella's progression sun at the time of the robbery was,
33 years old x 3.07 + ♐29° = 10 degrees of Aries♈ .

Interestingly, it was in sextile to Venus, which indicates money.

Then after that, he was arrested with a semi-sextile (150°) of Ascendant.

3. Mr. Ben Bella went to prison, but from there, unlike the ordinary man, he broke out of prison in 1952 by cutting through the iron bars with a knife (in semi-sextile of Saturn), and escaped to Egypt, where he emerged as a member of the Algerian National Liberation Front (FLN) under Nasser, becoming one of its leaders.

He led the guerrilla war against the French.

Ben Bella's progression sun at those times (1954-1955) as around 38-39 years old,
38 years old x 3.07 + ♐29° = 26 degrees of Aries,
This would be to Arcturus Opposition (26.5°), in trine of his natal Sun(29°), and in semi-sextile of Mars.

Numerous assassin teams were sent against Mr. Ben Bella, but he miraculously survived many times.

4.　However, when differences of opinion were expressed within the independence movement, in 1956, Mr. Ben Bella was arrested by the French military and detained rather peacefully until 1962.

Conversely, during this period, Ben Bella was not associated with the FLN, which had become a terrorist organization, and thus he did not face the stigma of murder.

Then, in the summer of 1962, he was released (in sextile of his ASC), and in the autumn of that year, he took power in a coup d'état.

Mr. Ben Bella's progressing Sun☉ at that time was,
38 years old x 3.07 + ♐29° = 19 degrees of Taurus
and was in trine to Saturn ♄.

Trine△ of the Moon also went around at the same time, and Mr. Ben Bella became president the following year with over 99% of the vote.

He came to be regarded as one of Africa's great leaders, along with Nasser, Nkrumah, and others.

5. In the summer of 1965, Ben Bella was imprisoned in a military coup (when his progressing Sun was in Opposition to his Natal Sun) and was placed under house arrest for the next 14 years.

He was then released 15 years later in 1980.
At that time, his progression sun☉ was
64 years old x 3.07 + ♐29° = 225 degrees, which is at 15 degrees of Cancer.

It was in trine to his Ascendant.

However, he was not allowed to return home until 1990 and spent time with his family in France and Switzerland.

Twenty-five years was enough time to grow old, even for a great fighter indeed.

6.  If Ben Bella had immediately launched a domestic political struggle after his release in 1980, he probably would have been able to seize power.

But he must have been a bit reluctant to do so, having married and gained a family while under house arrest.

It was also one's way of life.

...He lived long enough to see 2012 and was finally given an 8-day state funeral in Algeria, attended by his family.
