60stars Astrology Season 6-8 China section

Deng Xiaoping ①

1.  Now, we begin today with the China section.

China is a large country with a long, long history and a large population, still occupying more than one-eighth of the world's population.

It is, so to speak, the central nation of the east Asia.

Because there are so many people in China, maintaining political power requires unusual strength.

The Great King Deng Xiaoping, whom I will introduce in this article, with V=2.5, was the most powerful person in the Chinese Communist Revolution.

Deng Xiaoping's birth chart is shown in Figure 1.
It shows  his Natal Sun in Leo♌, Saturn in Aquarius♒,
the Ascendant in Scorpio ♏(11 degrees),
and the Moon in Capricorn♑.

This placement shows a good balance of positive and negative signs, and he would most likely be able to get through the bad stuff!

On the other hand, with the concentration in the signs of Fixed Zodiac, it would be predicted that the times in Scorpio and Aquarius would be hard.

His personality is 60stars Astrology's Sagittarius♐, looks cautious (his Ascendant Scorpio), but he is quick to make decisions.
(Fig.1)

2. Deng Xiaoping was born on August 22, 1904, in a rather wealthy family in the Sichuan Province of China, and at the age of 16 (October 1920), he went to France by ship.

Mr. Deng Xiaoping's progression Sun at this time was,

16. 2 x 2.5 + ♌28° = 68.5°, or at 8.5°of Libra, which was in square to Sirius☆
(Fig. 2).

Since this was a long time ago, once in a distant foreign country, he would not be able to get any assistance from anyone.

And, moreover, he's just a 16 years old young man.
Even if he was enterprising, it was difficult to take such a drastic action as a young man.

Of course, he soon became poor and had to work in a factory .

3.  However, Deng Xiaoping joined the Chinese Boy's Communist Party at the end of 1922, and the following year he returned to Paris to have a lifelong friendship with Zhou Enlai.

The following year, he became responsible for publishing the Party's official journal and began to play an active role.

At that time, at the age of 19 (1922), Deng Xiaoping's progressing sun was,
19 x 2.5 + ♌28°≓76°, or at 16°in Libra, in trine△ to Saturn♄ in the natal, which(♄) indicates communism.
(Fig 3)

4.  Deng Xiaoping was then expelled from France and went to Moscow to study communism; he returned in 1927 and joined Mao's Guangxi Soviet to become its secretary, but was ousted along with Mao in 1931 (his progressing Sun☉ was in square with Mars♂).

However, as a result of the Zunyi Conference (遵義会議)of 1934, Mao regained leadership and Mr. Deng was politically restored (the first restoration).

At the request of Zhou Enlai, he returned to the Party in January 1935 as Central Secretary General (a close associate of Zhou Enlai).

At that time,
The sun of Deng Xiaoping's progression was,
30.5 x 2.5 + ♌28° = 104°, or about at 14°in Scorpio.

However, perhaps due to overwork, he soon became ill and participated in "the Long March" with great difficulty while trying to cure his cold (His Progressing Sun☉ squared with Saturn).
(Fig. 4)

5.  Later, after his illness healed, Deng Xiaoping led anti-Japanese wars such as the Baidan War (百団大戦).

And when the Sun of Progression entered Sagittarius, he led the Second Field Army based in Sichuan, successfully conducted, the Battle of the Huaihai Sea (淮海)and
the Yangtze River (揚子江)Crossing Operation, and led the Chinese Communist Party to victory in the Civil War (1946).

After the establishment of the People's Republic of China, Deng Xiaoping continued to fight and became known as the "Emperor of the Southwest".

He was called to the central government (Beijing) by the leaderships such as Mao Zedong, and was appointed Vice Premier of the Politburo in 1952.

Deng Xiaoping's progressing Sun at that time was,
48 years old x 2.5 + ♌28° = 148°, which means it was at 28°in Sagittarius, in trine△ with his natal Sun☉

He was the youngest person to enter the central leadership of the Chinese Communist Party.
