60stars Astrology Season 6
149 Let's Learn How to Predict the Future:
60stars Astrology Season 6-8
China section Lin Biao
1. Now, today, we have Mr. Lin Biao, the genius general and the great architect of the Chinese Communist Revolution.
Although he has been written many bad things about, it would have been difficult to succeed in the revolution without him.
Lin Biao had V=2.96. His birth chart is shown in Figure 1.
His Sun and Moon are located in Sagittarius♐, and Saturn in Pisces♓; in 60stars astrology, the Sun was in Taurus♉ and the Moon in Aries♈, which means he had good compatibility of personality with Mao Zedong.
(Fig.1)
2. Lin Biao was born on December 5, 1907 in a wealthy merchant family, but his birth family soon declined.
In 1925, at the age of 17, he entered Huangpu Military Academy.
In 1927, he participated in the Nanchang Uprising (his progression sun at that time was in sextile of his Natal Sun☉ and in Opposition of Jupiter♃), and the following year he joined Mao Zedong and others, quickly rising to become a senior field commander.
He led the most offensive units.
Edgar Snow's book (“ Red Star over China”) also showed Lin Biao's military genius.
3. However, in 1938, during a battle in Shanxi Province, a bullet fired by a Japanese soldier hit Lin Biao in the head, causing him to fall from his horse and seriously wound him.
At that time, his progression sun was,
30.5 x 2.96 + ♐12° = 102.2° (Figure 2).
That is, it was at 12°of Pisces and it was in square to his Natal Sun.
Lin Biao also contracted tuberculosis and went to Moscow to get medical treatment.
(Fig. 2)
4. In Moscow, however, there were many dangers of a different kind than on the battlefield: around 1940, Lin Biao became addicted to opium.
He also had a very turbulent relationship with women.
At that time (age 33), Lin Biao's progression sun was,
33 x 2.96 + ♐12° = 109.6°, or about at 19.6 degrees in Pisces, in conjunction with Saturn.
Saturn signifies marriage, but in a sense there was a lot of confusion because there were so many marriage partners.
(Fig. 3)
5. Eventually, in 1943, Lin Biao married Ip Gun, and his progression sun entered Aries♈.
Although he was not on the front lines of the war for a long time, he returned to the front around 1945 to command the Northeastern Army of the Chinese Communist Party.
By the end of 1945, he commanded a corps of nearly 300,000 men, and from 1947, he commanded the three major battlefields of the Chinese Civil War.
Then, by the end of 1948, he destroyed the KMT's forces in the northeast, conquered Tianjin in January 1949, and in the spring successfully launched the Yangtze River Crossing Operation.
At that time, Lin Biao's progressing sun was,
41 years old x 2.96 + ♐12° = around at 133.3°,in trine with his natal Sun and Jupiter.
(Fig. 4)
6. By the end of 1949, the Red Army occupied all KMT military bases and the People's Republic of China was established.
Here, however, Lin Biao withdrew from command of the Korean War due to a mental disturbance and received medical treatment in Moscow.
As a military officer, he was treated as a general (1955), but he was not very active politically.
I guess that he was never very good in the political direction by nature.
7. When General Peng Dehuai(彭徳懐), who criticized the failure of the Great Leap Forward policy, was ousted (1959), Mao Zedong began to utilize General Lin Biao, who was loyal to him, and deepened their relationship.
At that time, Lin Biao's Sun of Progression was in sextile with Saturn.
When his progression Sun entered Gemini, Lin Biao was clearly incorporated into Mao Zedong.
But, by all accounts, Lin Biao was not pleased.
When the Cultural Revolution began in August 1966, Lin Biao was taken around by Mao Zedong and was seen as the de facto number 2 of the nation.
In 1968, Liu Shaoqi died and Lin Biao was named his successor.
At that time, Lin Biao's progression sun was,
59.8 x 2.96 + ♐12 = 189°, or at 9 degrees of Gemini, which was in his Moon's Opposition.
This indicates that Lin Biao was becoming famous, but was not very happy.
In fact, rather sad.
Lin Biao respected the character of Liu Shaoqi, who was 10 years older than him, and did not want to see him go down in disgrace.
Lin Biao must have mourned Liu's death in secret.
(Fig. 5)
8. Later (1968), Lin Biao confronted Zhou Enlai over relations with the Soviet Union.
However, he rose in the ranks of the party. (his Progressing Sun was in Opposition to his natal Sun).
This promotion must have been very hard for someone like Lin Biao, who was not a very showy personality.
However, Lin Biao finally decided to break off relations with Mao Zedong and planned a coup d'etat.(September 1971).
But, it was soon exposed and Lin Biao fled by plane, but the plane crashed and Lin Biao died.
At that time, Lin Biao's progressing sun was,
63.7 x 2.96 + ♐12 = 200.5°
It was at 20 degrees Gemini, which was squared by the natal Saturn.
(Fig. 6).
9. Lin Biao had received all the criticism that should be directed by Mr. Mao and is still now not being properly evaluated, but his honor will eventually be restored when there are no more living officials.
In the so-called "571 Process Bulletin,"which was supposedly a coup d'etat plan, Lin Biao said,
"Mao Zedong is not a true Marxist-Leninist, but a person who does the way of Kong Meng, the greatest feudal tyrant in Chinese history, who does the law of Qin Shi Huang under the garb of Marxism-Leninism."
He criticized Mao Zedong, and which was, in general, a correct remark.
However, it is also true that without a tyrant, China could not have been protected from Western colonial rule and Japanese expansion.
........Lin Biao was thoroughly unsuited to be a politician.
That's all for today.
