 Explanation of "Pt" ②

Take Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping as specific examples

1. Now, let's take two powerful people in China as examples of what happens when their "Pt" is competitive.

Deng Xiaoping the Great had V = 2.5(Pt=104.8), but Mao Zedong, well, he could be called a king, too, V = 3.0(Pt=120).

So, let's look at the relationship between their age difference and "Pt" !

2. Mr. Mao was born in 1893 and Deng Xiaoping was born in 1904, about 11 years apart.

If we look at the time when Deng Xiaoping became the General Secretary of the Communist Party Central, that was, when the Liu Shaoqi-Deng Xiaoping regime was established (1956).

As of the end of 1956,

Mao Zedong was 63 years old, so,

Pt = 63/120 or so, so roughly 0.525.

Deng Xiaoping was about 52.4 years old, so,

Pt = 52.4/104.8 = 0.499.

At that time, they both exceeded 0.7 squared (0.49), but slightly (only 0.0251) Mao Zedong had the advantage.
...Mao Zedong > Deng Xiaoping

3.  Now let's look at the time the Cultural Revolution was launched (1966).

As of the end of that year, Mao Zedong was 73 years old, so,

Pt = 73/120 = about 0.608.

On the other hand, Deng Xiaoping is about 64.3 years old, so,

Pt = 64.3/104.8 = 0.6135

Deng Xiaoping very slightly (0.0055) exceeded Mao by only a fraction.
...Deng Xiaoping ≥ Mao Zedong

Mr. Mao had killed so many people and associates that he could not trust his friends.
And after being forced into retirement in 1959, he was driven by the fear that he would be killed.

So the Cultural Revolution was set in motion to unseat his opponent (Mr. Liu Shaoqi's) line( " the practical group ").

However, Mr. Mao knew that Deng Xiaoping was insanely strong, and he secretly called on him many times to join his side.

....But Deng Xiaoping, a practical person, was worried about what to do.

4. If Deng Xiaoping had followed Mao Zedong and disqualified only Mr. Liu Shaoqi, it may have been possible that there would not have been such a huge chaos.

However, Deng Xiaoping did not take Mao's side.

He saw no justice in Mao.

So it became a heavyweight conflict and the nation was in shambles ( "Cultural Revolution" ).

And here, if, hypothetically, Deng Xiaoping had divided the state and led the army, what would have happened?

Deng Xiaoping the Great held the Southwest Army.

Mao Zedong, with one of great leaders, Lin Biao, who was also of the king's class(V=118.8) on his side, who had his Northeast Army, a powerful force.

But in a civil war, the two forces would have been very close in strength.

All three of them had "Pt" greater than (0.7) squared during the Cultural Revolution.

Lin Biao was still a little under Mao Zedong and Deng Xiaoping, but his "Pt" was higher than Hitler's at the end of the WWII.

At the end of 1966, Lin Biao's Pt was,

Pt = 59/118.8 = 0.496≧ 0.7 squared

It was very large.

In such a battle between the three super-heavyweights, surpassing even Hitler's, Deng Xiaoping would probably have won after more than a decade of civil war.

5.  Deng Xiaoping the Great was on the front lines of a disastrous domestic battle with the Kuomintang, and so, to avoid ever again having his own people divided and fighting each other, and to avoid inviting interference from foreign countries, he decided to die and chose to lose his own position.

.....History has proven that his decision was correct.

However, for those who had fallen prey to the Cultural Revolution, a miserable life awaited them.

Lin Biao, who unknowingly sided with Mao Zedong, also had a tragic end to his life.

6.  Now, what will happen when two leaders with competing "Pt"  fight each other, reads like this above.

If you are interested, it would be interesting to see how the "Pt" transitioned in the relationship between Mao Zedong and Chiang Kai-shek as well!

That's all for today.
