Let's look at the horoscope of Pioneers 

2 Scientist, Madame Marie Curie.

1. Today we will examine the horoscope of Marie Curie.
We will call her “Madame Curie,” as she herself called herself.

Looking at Madame Curie's natal chart, we see that the Sun in Scorpio was in trine to the Moon in Pisces.

The Ascendant (Aquarius) was almost square to the Sun.

In 60stars astrology, her Sun was just entering Aquarius, so simply put, this person was strongly influenced by Aquarius (☉ in 60stars astrology and ASC) and was a very rational minded person who was also not bound by any conventions of the past.

Madame Curie had V=4.19.

2.  By the way, when Madame Curie was born (11/7.1867), it was not a world where women became scholars or researchers.

Although Madame Curie graduated from the Gymnasium with excellent grades in 1883, there was no talk of her going to university, and she spent some time relaxing at home and working as a private teacher.

While working as a tutor, she fell in love with a man who was a student at Warsaw University at the time (he later became a renowned scholar).

However, people around her were against it, and they decided to elope together, but in September 1891, the man became indecisive at the last minute and their love ended.

The sun of her progression at that time was,
4.19×23.8+♏14.5=114.2 degrees, or around 24 degrees Aquarius, and squared to Saturn in the natal. 

This is a huge heartbreak.

3. Later, instead of returning home, she went to Paris to study at the Sorbonne.

There she met her husband Pierre, a researcher, and they married in 1895. 

While continuing their research together, they decided on a theme the following year: radiation, which would later become a great achievement.

Two years later, they had a baby, and the following year they were busy with housework, life, and research, reporting their findings to the Academy of Sciences.

At this time, her progression Sun was progressing through Pisces, and she had a series of strong and good lucks such as trine of Sirius, trine of Natal Sun, and conjunction of Natal Moon.


4. And in April and December of 1898, the couple discovered polonium and radium. 

At once, she receives international attention as a scholar.

The sun of her progression at this age of 31 was, at the time of the discovery,
4.28×31+♏14.5≈145 degrees, or 25 degrees in Pisces, in trine to natal Saturn in Scorpio.

5. The couple would later win the Nobel Prize, but after Pierre's accidental death in 1906 (semi-sextile Saturn), Madame Curie became the first woman professor at a university, with heavy responsibilities.

Then, in the midst of the election of the first woman to be a member of the French Academy of Sciences, which had been continuing since the previous year, and in the midst of a scandal that she was dating a man who was a researcher, Madame Curie again won the Nobel Prize in November 1911.

Her progression Sun☉at that time was,

4.19×44+♏14.5≈198 degrees, or 18 degrees of Taurus.

Her progression Sun was in opposition to the natal Sun, followed by the Moon's sextile, and a storm of praise and scorn was brewing.

As expected of Aquarius, she was not bound by convention.

6. Well, a lot has happened since then, but it is manageable because she had already become a great scientist of international renown.

However, because she did not know (or rather, did not believe) that radioactive materials were bad for her, and often studied them without protection, she ended up almost blind and very disabled and died.

At the time of her death (July 1934) her progression sun was,
4.28×66.7+♏14.5°＝294°, or at 24° in Leo, and squared to her Saturn in Natal.

7. Tanu-chan often introduced males in the horoscopes of politicians, but as we can see from Princess Diana and Madame Curie, there is nothing at all to indicate that women are inferior in their abilities.

......There is no doubt that many talented women will come into the world in the future.
