Let's look at the Horoscope of Pioneers

3 Mr. Ernest Hemingway, Literary Author

1.  Now today we have a popular American writer, Mr. Ernest Hemingway.

Mr. Hemingway was born on the 21st of July, 1899, with V=4.88.

2. Let's take a look at Mr. Hemingway's Natal horoscope.

What is unique is that the Sun was at 28 degrees Cancer, square Arcturus, and semi-sextile the Ascendant in Leo.

This means that the good and bad luck of the Fire Star (the planet of honor, power, accidents, and weapons) may be going around at the same time.

3. As a young man, Mr. Hemingway bravely participated in World War I as a member of the Red Cross (1918), where he was mortally wounded.

The sun of progression at that time was,
4.88 x 19 + ♋28 degrees ≈ 120 degrees
That is, it is near 0 degrees of Scorpio♏, square to the Sun, in conjunction with Arcturus, and in sextile to the Ascendant.

Although it was a brave deed, it was a very dangerous moment.

4. then, after working as a newspaper reporter, he went to Paris, where in the 1920s he interacted with many influential cultural figures.

However, in 1928, his father, with whom he was very close, committed suicide ( Conjunction of his natal saturn) and he was shocked.

5.  In the 1930s, he was involved in the Spanish Civil War and published and presented numerous successful works.

For example,
“Farewell to Arms”,
and,
“For Whom the Bell Tolls”

....However, after that, he fell into a long slump.

Around the summer of 1952, he made a dramatic comeback with "The Old Man and the Sea."

The sun of his progression at that time was,
4.88 x 53.1 + ♋ 28 degrees ≈ 287 degrees.

This means it was at 17 degrees of Aries, in trine to the natal Saturn in Sagittarius.
 (Fig. 4)

This work, “The Old Man and the Sea,” was awarded the Nobel Prize in the autumn of 1954.

However, Hemingway was injured in another accident and was unable to attend the award ceremony.

The sun of the progression at that time was,
4.88 x 55.2 + ♋28 degrees ≈ 297.3 degrees

In other words, it was near 27-28 degrees of Aries, which was in the trine of the Ascendant, but Arcturus was in Opposition and the Sun in Natal was also square.

With honor came accident.
(Fig. 5)

6. Later, suffering from the aftereffects of the accident, Mr. Hemingway committed suicide by gunshot in July 1961.

The progression sun at that time was,
4.88×61.9+♋28°≈330°.

In short, his progression Sun☉ was near at 0 degrees of Gemini was sextile to the Natal Sun, but Arcturus was semi-sextile and the Ascendant was square to it.
(Fig. 6)

From the angle of the progressing Sun☉, I believe that Mr. Hemingway had a powerful friend and aid.

But I think he has already exhausted himself.

Good and bad luck going around at the same time often makes a person's nerves extremely tired.

Mr. Hemingway was born under the 60stars astrological sign of Cancer.
He had very sensitive nerves at heart and was a kind hearted person.

Mr. Hemingway died by the weapon with which he had spent his entire life.

..That is all for today
