” The Power of Stars ? ”

１．In this way, the value that satisfies X + 1 = X,  
probably, perhaps paired with –1/2 (this is only a guess),  
is a number that is neither real nor imaginary.  

This is, in short, a number that is outside the rules.  

If such a number exists,  

(X + 1)² = X²  
X² + 2X + 1 = X²  

If the X² on the left equals the X² on the right,  
then 2X + 1 = 0.  

Now, since X + 1 = X, this equation can also be written as  
2X = 0, or 2(X + 1) = 0.  

That is, X + 1 = 1, but then,  
2X = 0,  
2X + 1 = 0,  
2X + 2 = 0,  
and so on—various forms appear.  

At this point, it is full of violations of the rules.  

Well, in this way,  
numbers that quietly step outside the rules exist here and there.  

Of course, one may define such numbers as “nonexistent” or “contradictory.” 

 
But whether defined as nonexistent or not,  
something is there. Probably.  

Some may say, “If it exists, show it to me!”  

Well, that’s impossible.

2. Now, what I want to say here is about the influence of planets in a horoscope.  

If a person’s progressed Sun moves three degrees per year,  
then in thirty years it moves ninety degrees,  

.........that is, it squares🔳the natal Sun ☉.  

Then, like Adolf Hitler, who lost his sight and was hospitalized from war wounds,  

or like Kakuei Tanaka, who was arrested by the police,  

or like Princess Diana, who became a caged bird and suffered mentally—  

well, the reasons vary,  but for some reason, a situation arises  in which one is unwillingly confined or restrained somewhere. 

 
Such a misfortune happens one hundred percent.  

Of course, there are those for whom it is milder—  
perhaps merely being watched over constantly by a strict boss at work and suffering for it.  

But isn’t it strange?  

That the star in one’s natal horoscope influences one thirty years later.  

The position of the planets long ago affects one’s present self? 

 
Isn’t that impossible?  

...For example, if today’s actual Sun is at 10° Scorpio,  
then to say that this Sun affects people whose natal Sun or Moon is at the same place (10° Scorpio)—  
that idea is easier for ordinary people to understand.  

Whether it’s the gravity of the planets,  
some unknown radiation, or a strange vibration,  
though it cannot be observed,  
some kind of energy from the Sun reacts  
with some kind of receptor within us,  
and some kind of phenomenon occurs—  

...Thinking this way,  
it seems to follow existing rules (like physical waves or interference).  

However, there is no such force.  

There is no power that transcends everything.  

If it were really about planetary gravity, then Sirius or Arcturus could not possibly influence human beings so much.  

There are many nameless stars much closer—  
for instance, Barnard’s Star, plain as it is,  
is far larger than Jupiter.  

.....And the natal Moon influencing you fifty years later?  

Isn’t the speed of that force reaching Earth far too slow?  

How many years would it take?  

A receptor in the body? 

Where exactly is it?  

........Thus, the influence of planets in a horoscope  
arises entirely from a place outside ordinary rules.  

Therefore, astrology does not need to be science.  

In fact, it is completely different from what we call science today.  

It is true that mathematical calculation is needed  
to compute celestial positions and angles,  
but mathematics cannot explain these powers of the planets at all.  

....It is the same as the solution to X + 1 = X.  

Some people try hard to make astrology into a science,  
but it is unnecessary—and misses the essence.  

Of course, Dr. Michel Gauquelin of France,  
who seriously conducted statistical studies, was great!  

Trying it is what matters.  

But still, astrology is neither mathematics nor science.
