Part 3: The Moon - The Star of Popularity

1.  So, today we're talking about the Moon ☽ .

The Moon is a star with a very strong influence, but does that mean its effects are always very clear?
Well, not really.

For men, it often signifies the wife or mother, so its meaning tends to be clearer.

Generally, though, it relates to popularity, good foods and health, family joys—things like that.

Especially as one ages, it can mean things like good health, eating well and gaining a little, or other less flashy meanings.

......It may not be flashy, but daily health and a happy family are actually the greatest happiness.

It's something you rarely appreciate until you lose it.

For celebrities and politicians, this is an important star indicating popularity and attention.

The Moon represents the masses, meaning the person's impression is etched into the masses' subconscious.

The person themselves may not even realize they are being noticed.

2. In terms of popularity with the masses, Theodore Roosevelt is a clear example.

Theodore Roosevelt, who rose to fame with the Rough Riders, became president after President McKinley's death when he was promoted from vice president.

Enjoying overwhelming public popularity, he cracked down on corrupt corporations and promoted consumer health initiatives through legislation like the Pure Food and Drug Act.

In this way, the moon also signifies food for the masses.

3. For those who find it hard to get a clear picture, it might be easier to understand by looking at Margaret Thatcher of the UK when she first entered the cabinet as Education Secretary.

At that time, the Moon was in a bad aspect (150 degrees), yet as Education Secretary, Thatcher reformed school meals and removed school milk—symbolic of "mother"—from the program.

This policy was unpopular, and Thatcher was branded

a “milk snatcher”

by households nationwide.

The Moon signifies mother, milk, children, school meals, family, and unpopularity—well, those are the themes indicated here.

(Fig.2)

4. With the Moon's unfavorable aspects, unpopularity or loneliness are unavoidable, but the greatest pain is losing family, especially children.

For men, this can mean losing a spouse or mother.

Tanaka Kakuei was elected to the House of Representatives for the first time at age 29, but at the same time, he lost his eldest son.

This occurred during a Moon opposition☍

While he gained popularity from the masses, he experienced sorrow within his family.

(Fig 3)

Well, basically, the moon represents things like popularity among the masses, home and food, mother and milk.

But for men, it signifies a wife.

..........In other words, just like the sun ☉ does for women, it ☽ carries the meaning of marriage.

We'll explore this further next time.

That's all for today.
