Da Vinci and the Circle

1. Well, anyway, last time I wrote about this idea that logarithmic spirals' growth pattern is shown in da Vinci's drawings.

But since it's still unclear whether da Vinci wanted to make the spiral larger or fix it to the circle, Tanu-chan decided to look at what's called the “da Vinci Manuscript.”


And there, I found a drawing like the left side of today's top illustration.

There......the spirals face each other, but instead of spinning round and round, they seem to collide and stop.

Tanu-chan's image of a spiral is like the one on the right side of the illustration, where they're chasing each other in a whirling, spinning motion. 

But Da Vinci's seems a bit different.
..........Hmm, could this be... the same idea as the pyramids?

Moreover, this drawing divides the circle into 8 (or 16) directions, so the units become 45 degrees or 90 degrees.

...So, does that mean Mr. Da Vinci belonged to the same group as those people???

They say 47°?   May be they are not...?

2. ......Anyway, when you say "Renaissance" , its representative is Mr. Da Vinci. 

The Renaissance was a "celebration of humanity", a human renaissance and freedom,.... so Mr. Da Vinci surely had something in mind when he drew this picture.

Hmm...


But, as I kept reading the manuscript, I thought, “Huh? What's this drawing?”

The circle is fixed !

Which means, Mr. Da Vinci...



......Mr. Da Vinci!
You're kinda scary!



Well, that's why Tanu-chan was so shocked.
