188 60 Stars Astrology: Season Vacation ⑩
The Aspects of Sirius: Part 1 – The Beneficial Aspects of Sirius
1. Well, starting today, we’re focusing on Sirius.
Sirius is the brightest star in the constellation Canis Major, isn’t it?
When Sirius begins to shine brightly on your way home, winter is already here.
By the way, "Sirius" means "the one who scorches".
Sirius rises alongside the Sun at the summer solstice.
Therefore, there are magical groups that celebrate this season as a special time.
Well, Tan-chan has nothing to do with them.
2. Canopus rises at almost the same time as Sirius.
Sirius and Canopus are the first and second brightest stars in the sky, both shining brilliantly white.
Some people in high-latitude regions, or in Europe, may have never seen Canopus.
This Sirius-Canopus belt lies between approximately 8 and 11.5 degrees in the constellation Cancer, and its fundamental nature is wind and water.
To put it simply, the first half (Canopus) relates to wind, and the second half (Sirius) relates to water.
...Some of you might be thinking, “Isn't it the opposite?,” but well, you’ll have to look into that on your own.
While the meaning of “Wind” generally indicates physical relocation, such as moving house, it can also signify traveling far away—that is, an interest in the occult world.
3. When this Sirius-Canopus belt (hereinafter referred to as the Sirius belt) forms a favorable aspect, it can lead to success through long-distance travel.

3. When this Sirius-Canopus belt (hereinafter referred to as the Sirius belt) forms a favorable aspect, it can lead to success through long-distance travel.
A famous example is W. Churchill.
It was in November 1899, when he was 25 years old and traveled to South Africa as a newspaper reporter.
Churchill was captured (square to his natal Sun), but he managed to escape and fled all the way to the British consulate in distant Mozambique.
Churchill was captured (square to his natal Sun), but he managed to escape and fled all the way to the British consulate in distant Mozambique.
This escape made Churchill an overnight sensation in the press, where he was hailed as a hero.
V (3.68) × 25 + 7 degrees = 99 degrees—that is, 9 degrees of Pisces.
At that time, Churchill’s Sun formed a trine with the Sirius Belt (Fig. 1).
Riding that wave, he was elected to the National Diet the following year, so the power of the Sirius Belt is quite strong.
Special reporter (newspaper), foreign countries, escape, media coverage—all of these are effects of the wind.

........However, it’s not always this dramatic.
In 1934, Mao Zedong abandoned the Communist Party’s base and began the Long March.
Then, at the Enlarged Zunyi Conference in January of the following year, Mao Zedong established his leadership over the Party’s central committee.
At that time, Mao Zedong’s Sun was in a sextile with the Sirius Belt, but it was a very long journey.
(Fig. 2)
Although Mao Zedong’s position as leader was largely established during this Long March, many party members perished amid the famine.
.......Well, while the Sirius Belt is often associated with travel, it also symbolizes people with whom we share a deep connection—such as siblings.

So, people you meet when Sirius is in a favorable aspect may feel like friends or family you’ve known for ages.
“We meet again!”
It feels like that.
That’s all for today.
