1. Now, this time we will talk about Venus.

Venus is incredibly popular in horoscopes and star signs, especially when it comes to romance and compatibility readings.

"When will I fall in love with him?"

Well, you often see Venus featured in articles written exactly like that.

2. Now, regarding that point, Tanu-chan believes that while Venus can indeed indicate the opposite sex, its most definitive meaning is actually "money."

...Unfortunately, it is not quite as romantic as people think.

There are exceptions, of course, such as Mr. Mikhail Gorbachev marrying the beautiful Raisa and spending his entire life as a deeply devoted husband.

But usually, when it comes down to it, it means money. 

Sometimes, it can be money that isn't exactly clean.

It is true that Venus carries meanings related to fine art, jewelry, antiques, or beautiful people like models. 

However, its connotations of money and securing good employment are still far stronger.

3. The Chinese Communist Party led by Mao Zedong had been receiving funding from the Nationalists (Kuomintang) under the Second United Front. 

However, relations deteriorated in 1941, and the Nationalists cut off the funds.

Already cash-strapped, the revolutionary base in Yan'an fell into deep financial distress.

In response, Mao Zedong and the leadership decided to partner with powerful opium figures to manufacture and sell opium right there in Yan'an. 

This began around the end of 1941, and by the following year, opium brought astronomical profits to the Communist Party—accounting for half of the government’s revenue—drastically and rapidly improving Yan'an's economic situation.

Yes, this is the raw power of a Venus trine.

4. Of course, Venus doesn't just signify simple cash; it also encompasses theoretical fields such as finance and economics.

In 1962, the Japanese Prime Minister at the time, Hayato Ikeda, appointed Mr. Kakuei Tanaka to one of the most critical cabinet positions: Minister of Finance ( 大蔵大臣 ).

At this exact moment, Tanaka’s progressed Sun formed an opposition with his natal Venus.

However, he was only 44 years old. 

Everyone thought his appointment was far too young.

Tanaka had not graduated from a university. 

He was born into a poor family and had relied solely on his own strength to survive since his teenage years, meaning he had absolutely no background in state finance.

Surrounded entirely by elites from top-tier universities, it was widely assumed that the role would be impossible for him. 

Yet, he studied fiercely, mastering the nation's finances in a remarkably short period. 

By the time he stepped down from the post three years later, no one doubted his capabilities.

5. As you can see, Venus includes not only the concept of money but also broad fields related to wealth, such as economics and state finance.
