93　About "Know the future" 

Progression Part 5: 
Read N. Khrushchev's horoscope.

1.  Well, today it's Nikita Khrushchev. He's roughly V = 3.77°/year.

Older people will be familiar with the name, but younger people may not know him.

He was a slightly bald man with a funny face and a merry air. 
After Stalin's death, he became the leader of the Soviet Union.

Then he stepped down after less than 10 years, but even after his downfall, he lived a normal life in his apartment, somewhat of a strange person. 
Let's take a look at his natal horoscope.

His natal Sun☉（in pink) and Saturn ♄ are almost in opposition, so he was actually a cautious person.

The Sun at 25 degrees of Aries, and it is Pisces of the 60stars astrological signs, so  he was quite a folksy person.

His ASC was at 16 degrees of Leo and was flamboyant in appearance, and his natal Moon was well placed (good aspect to his natal Sun and Saturn), You can see that he has a bit of a cute vibe.

This personality might be one of the reasons he was able to survive in the Soviet Union, where "disqualification = death".



2.  Khrushchev was born into a family of a coal miner and started working in a factory at the age of 15. 

In 1918, he joined the Communist Party, but the first clue to his success came in 1925, at the age of 31, when he became a full-time member of the Communist Party and caught the eye of Kaganovich, a high-ranking member ( Kaganovich was so closely to Stalin that his son was married to Stalin's daughter). 

The position of his sun in progression at that time was,
V (3.77) x 31 years old+ 25 degrees = 141.8 degrees.　
That is, 21 degrees of Leo (Figure 2).

Saturn ♄ (♎21) in Natal, the planet of power, was in sextile to his progressing Sun☉ (in blue).

3.  Later, his energetic work was appreciated and he was awarded the Order of Lenin for his success in building the Moscow subway, which brought him to Stalin's attention.
 
At this time, his Sun in progression was, 
V (3.77) x 37 years old + 25 degrees = 164.5 degrees.
In short, it was 14 degrees of Virgo, in sextile with his natal Uranus (♏14 degrees). 
It's a big selection made by transportation (♅＝Wind nature).

4.  After, Past Virgo, Khrushchev's progressing Sun had entered Libra♎.

As you can see from his natal chart, Khrushchev had Saturn♄ in Libra and the Sun☉ in Aries.

So he would be under intense pressure during this Libra period (the period of the Great Purges by Stalin had occurred.).

However, Destiny promoted Khrushchev, and when the war between Germany and the Soviet Union began in the winter of 1941, he was placed on the front lines in Ukraine.
His progressing Sun at this time was,

V (3.77) x 47.66 years old + 25 degrees = 204.6 degrees.　
That is, at 24.6 degrees of Libra.
Khrushchev stood in front of Hitler. It was his natal Sun☉ 's Opposition☍.

5.  During the Battle of Stalingrad, the following year,  his progressing Sun☉ met Arcturus★ at 27 degrees of Libra, and he had a period of military and violence.

6.  After the war, Khrushchev was dismissed from his job for a bit and did some low-key activities.

But in 1953, that gigantic Great King, Stalin, died.
At this time, Khrushchev's progressing Sun was at 8 degrees Sagittarius.
He must have been quite surprised, but it does not seem that he did ANYTHING actively.

After the death of the Great King, Beria, Malenkov, and Khrushchev were seen as his successors.

But Beria was too scary and there were probably other suspicions about Beria, so in the winter of 1953 they all talked it over and killed Beria.

If you look at his Sun☉ in progression at this time, it was in opposition☍  with his natal Pluto♇ and Neptune♆, semi-sextile with Sirius☆, and square with Venus♀.
This seems to indicate that this was a conspiracy behind closed doors and that Khrushchev, even if he was relieved, would have felt a bit frazzled about Beria personally.

That's just Tanu‐chan's opinion, though.

7.  Khrushchev then rose through the ranks of his peers and came to be regarded as the party's leading figure, and in June 1956 he made his famous criticism of Stalin, " On the Personality Cult and its Consequences.".

His sun of progression at this time was,
V (3.77) x 62.33 years old + 25 degrees ≒ 260 degrees.　
It was at 20 degrees Sagittarius, in sextile to his natal Saturn in Libra.

He shocked the world and showed himself to be the primary Soviet leader.

8. The following year, Khrushchev unseated his opponents, then his progressing Sun was at 240 degrees(trine△) of his natal Sun(25 degrees Aries) 

And he took the top position (becoming the First Secretary),literally.

9.  Khrushchev then lost his office in October 1964.

His sun of progression at this time was
V (3.77) x 70.5 years old + 25 degrees = 290.7 degrees.　

This was at 20.7 degrees of Capricorn and it squared his natal Saturn (21 degrees in Libra.) 
(Fig. 8).

Thus, Saturn's power is most important to those in power.

10.  What was interesting about Khrushchev was that he was thereafter a member of the Communist Party Central Committee until 1966, after which he lived a simple retirement in an apartment in Moscow.

Khrushchev didn't kill people as much as possible, so Khrushchev probably didn't get killed either.

in September 1971, Khrushchev died of illness (His Ascendant's Opposition☍).
