~③ Let's make a 4x4 magic circle into 3D
Find your number buddies!
1 . Now, continuing from last time
I know this may sound annoying, but I would like to remind you again that what Tanu-chan is talking about is not a "magic cube," as mathematical experts call it.
Tanu-chan's magic cube is a three-dimensional version of a flat magic cube!
It is confusing, so please call it JRMC (Japanese Raccoon Magical Cube)!
It is an amateur's 3D!
2. By the way, as I wrote in the last article, a 4x4 complete magic cube can be classified into three types according to the calculation pattern.
Let's call them Type A, Type B, and Type C.
For the 16 squares, I'm starting with the number 0 (I'll make it 0-15. But you can also start from 1. In that case, it will be 1-16. Each is a person's preference.)
( Fig. 1 )
( Fig. 1 )
Now, let's look at the characteristics of these three basic complete magic circles, or rather, how the numbers are grouped!
3. First of all, if you gaze at the positions of the numbers, you'll notice something!
0, 1, 14, and 15 are in the same position.
So we assume that these are the same group.
Then we erase their positions from the chart.
( Fig. 2 )4. Next, gazing at the table,
In the magic circle of A and B
6, 7, 8, 9, are in the same position.
This means that we cannot identify the basic magic circle just by knowing the number of this position.
So, we erase the position from the chart.
( Fig. 3 )
So, we erase the position from the chart.
( Fig. 3 )
5. Next, the magic circle for B and C is,
2, 12, 3 and 13 are in the same position.
So, we cannot identify the basic magic circle only by knowing the number of this position.
Therefore, we have to erase the position from the chart.
( Fig. 4 )
Therefore, we have to erase the position from the chart.
( Fig. 4 )
6. Now, if we look at it this way
The basic form can be identified at once by the number and its position, i.e., the characteristics of the basic formation,
The basic form can be identified at once by the number and its position, i.e., the characteristics of the basic formation,
For magic circle A, 2, 3, 12, 13
For magic circle B, 4, 5, 10, 11
For the magic circle C, the numbers 6, 7, 8, 9
For magic circle B, 4, 5, 10, 11
For the magic circle C, the numbers 6, 7, 8, 9
So we can now divide the numbers into four groups.
In other words
α (magic circle A) = 2, 3, 12, 13
β (magic circle B) = 4, 5, 10, 11
γ (magic circle C) = 6, 7, 8, 9
In other words
α (magic circle A) = 2, 3, 12, 13
β (magic circle B) = 4, 5, 10, 11
γ (magic circle C) = 6, 7, 8, 9
As common to all basic magic circles,
ω = 0, 1, 14, 15
These are four groups of numbers!!
It's a long story, so I'll see you next time!
