2.  Mr. Theodore Roosevelt has a natal Ascendant in Gemini, which means he loves to travel, has weak lungs, has only Pisces and Neptune at zenith, and is more of a wanderer's horoscope than a politician.

This indicates that a great influential or powerful person or capitalist is on his side at that time.

.....Theodore thought he could win the presidential election with the support of a very powerful man and outfox Mr. Taft, whom he disliked.

However, that person is also backing Mr. Wilson, and he made Theodore split the Republican Party, 

and made Mr. Wilson, a Democrat with no so great ability and a strong desire for honor, President so that person could get what he wanted to do,
