60stars Astrology Season 6

143 Let's Learn How to Predict the Future:

60stars Astrology Season 6-7

India and Southeast Asia section    J. Nehru ①

1.  Well, today, I am going to write about Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru the Great of India.

I was wondering which one to write about, Mr. Gandhi or Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru, but I wrote a little about Mr. Gandhi in the “Explanation of Saturn” article, so please read it using that as a clue!
... I wrote a little about him on Twitter (X).

However, Gandhi's horoscope is a bit difficult to read!
Because, first of all, Mr. Gandhi does not seek power, money, worldly honors, etc.
In other words, you cannot track changes in Mr. Gandhi's life by whether he was promoted or not, or by whether his title changed or not.

Also, his style of struggle completely changed before and after "the Rowlatt Act."
We must consider that Mr. Gandhi in the South African period and Mr. Gandhi after his return to India had changed greatly in his behavior and mentality.

2.  Now, here is J. Nehru the Great, born November 14, 1989, V=2.56.

It is fair to say that Indian independence was, in effect, achieved under the leadership of the great King Nehru.

Among leaders of his age, he was preeminent in South Asia.
His birth horoscope is as shown in Figure 1 below.
The Sun was at 22° in Scorpio,( in 60stars astrology, in Aquarius♒) , and the Moon was at 10° Leo, (in 60stars astrology, in Virgo♍.) .
Saturn is at 3 degrees of Virgo.

Looking at this placement, it seems that when  his progression Sun☉ came into Aquarius, there would be a lot of difficulties and hardships.
(Fig. 1)

3.  Nehru's autobiography gives a good picture of his excellent character.
Born into a wealthy Brahmin family, he studied at Cambridge University and became a lawyer (1912)
His father is also a lawyer and a well-known member of the Indian Independence Conference

As a lawyer himself, he joined the independence movement.

However, around the time of the enactment of the Rowlatt Act in 1919, he was deeply shocked by the campaign of disobedience and non-cooperation advocated by M. Gandhi, who was recovering from a near-death illness.

.....It was a method of struggle that was not possible in the first place.

This is well illustrated in his autobiography.

Nehru was 30 years old in 1919, and At that time the Sun of Progression was,
30×2.56+♏22°≈99° near 9° of Aquarius, just at the Moon's Opposition, showing deep spiritual self-reflection.

He wished to join the movement, but was opposed by those around him.

In his autobiography, Jawaharlal Nehru also confessed that his father was vehemently opposed to the idea of a member of a prestigious family going to prison.

(Fig. 2)

4.  Around this time (around 1920), Mr. Nehru stopped being a boy politician and joined the people, and from 1921 to around 1945, he was arrested several times, spending a total of about 10 years in prison.

Although he respected Gandhi, he stood up for himself and became the leader of the Nationalist Congress Party in December 1929, and proposed and announced the Declaration of Indian Independence (Lahore Conference).

Mr. Nehru's progressing Sun☉ at that time was,
40.1×2.56+♏22°≒124.6°, which means it was at around 4 degrees of Pisces♓, in Opposition to Saturn and in Semi-Sextile to Mars.

This was an obvious rebellion against England, but it was enthusiastically supported by the masses.
However, as expected, he was arrested and imprisoned three months later (in the spring of the following year) when Gandhi's “Salt March” began.
(Fig. 3)

5.  In the elections of early 1937, the Indian National Congress party won overwhelmingly in the majority of states (His progressing Sun was in Trine with his natal Sun), and Jinnah's Muslim League was defeated.

However, the Indian independence movement is delayed by the onset of World War II.

Against this situation, Nehru, who announced in October 1940 that he would not support the United Kingdom, was immediately arrested and served about a year in prison the following year (he was released in December 1941).

Nehru's progression sun at the time of this arrest was,
51.2 x 2.56 + ♏22° ≈ 153°, i.e., at 3 degrees of Aries in Opposition to Mars and Semi-Sextile to Saturn.
(Fig. 4)

6.  Now, as I will continue in the next article, from the first half of the life Nehru the Great was a politician and activist, but like his master Gandhi, he did never use violence (military force) himself.

....So, it would be quite difficult to read his horoscope for the first time, the same as Gandhi's horoscope.

That's all for today.
