170 60stars astrology Season 7 Appendix 4

Polyhedron that butterflies might like

1. Well, a while ago, I thought of regular polyhedra as the ones that would be liked from the bird's point of view,

I mentioned that the stellated octahedron (Da Vinci's star), which appears to be an overlapping rhombus with 1 side and √3 diagonals, and the large icosahedron could be included in the regular polyhedron.

2 . Of course, this was not something I heard directly from the bird, but Tanu-chan thought of myself as if I were the bird.

While flapping its wings, I thought about the balance of its appearance, how cool it looks, how uncluttered it is, how friendly it is.

I think about these things while flying in the sky.

"Is there a girl who has all three qualities, cute, smart, and nice?"

"Oops, a doctor, that's dangerous for me!"

3.  Well, that's how I was going to make my selection, but the bird was getting a little restless, and getting more and more confused!

“There are only two semi-regular polyhedra, and of those, the 20-12hedron looks neat, but I also can't throw away the soccer ball shape!

“I kept looking at it and my eyes started to go round and round!”

.........Yes, birds can get their eyes rolling rather easily.

4.  So Tanu-chan decided to ask a superior version of birds, butterflies.

Butterflies are quiet, but they have the ability to see things.

But since butterflies suck nectar from flowers, they focus on the vertices of three-dimensional shapes, but they also focus on the planes.

So it is also necessary to consider whether the surfaces are neat and tidy.

5.  Of course, I cannot talk to the butterfly directly, so I have to become the butterfly.

First you eat lettuce...   and since it takes a long time to do that, we will skip the stage of larvae!

Spread your wings, ride the wind, and look for flowers... Oh, and there are bees, too!

..... As a result of this delusion, Tanu-chan realized that octagonal and decagonal faces are not flowers, i.e., such polyhedra are a bit goofy.

Well, like a Huge sunflower in a flower.
It is different from the image of a butterfly.
It is too big.
This is a vegetable !

Also, a diamond shape, by itself, can be a leaf or a petal, but not a flower?

I can still understand if some of them are neatly combined....

Why do I think this way?
I don't really know the reason, though.
I guessed how butterflies feel.

.....Then,

The 20- 12-hedron has the same vertices and sides, and the flower in the center (equilateral pentagon) looks like it has petals (equilateral triangles) around it, so it looks nice!

The Cuboctahedron has a flower (a square) surrounded by petals (equilateral triangles), so it is not so bad.

I am a little concerned about the square flower in the center, though.
.....No, I guess it would bother me a lot. ......

Hmmm...

I have a great deal of trouble with the soccer ball shape (32 sides) and the oblique 20/ 12-sided shape, which could be called a flower.

The flower can be a regular pentagon, but the petals could be hexagons, or a combination of squares and equilateral triangles... Not bad, but a bit complicated.

...Anyway, I came up with about 4 candidates like that!

Then, "Aren't a deformed dodecahedron or a deformed cube also a flower?"

Some may ask me, maybe.......

“But that's because the flower in the middle is a regular pentagon or square, and the petals are all equilateral triangles, so, well, it's the same as 20- 12-sided or cubic octahedron!”

...I think Butterfly would answer.

6.  Well, that's why,

The regular polyhedra (Platonic solids) seen by man are 5

The regular polyhedron seen by a raccoon dog is +2 (circle and sphere)

The regular polyhedron candidates seen by a bird are Da Vinci's star and the Great icosahedron +2 ?

The regular polyhedron candidates from the butterfly's point of view are the 20-12hedron and the cuboctahedron,

......And the ones I'm still thinking about whether they are candidates or not,
Soccer ball shape ( 20 cut-topped icosahedron = 12 pentagons and 20 hexagons) and oblique 20-12 icosahedron

That's how they were picked up!

Actually, Tanu-chan would like to include the soccer ball shape.

I'm not sure why, but I think it's a good idea.
Looking at the circumscribed ball of it and other things.

As Mr. Archimedes says, it is the closest to a sphere!
Perhaps Mr. Archimedes was a butterfly in his previous life.

So much for today's delusion.
